Our story
There is nothing quite like the sight of a brand-new candle sitting on your coffee table. That perfectly smooth, flat top and the "clean, fresh look" of the wax before the first light is one of my favourite parts of the making process.
But for us, soy wax is about more than just aesthetics.
For me, a candle isn’t just a home accessory; it’s a memory. I choose fragrances that resonate with me personally—scents that evoke a childhood memory or a specific desire.
Take my Cinnamon Orange blend, for example. The second I smell those spicy, citrusy notes, I’m instantly transported. It smells exactly like a Terry’s Chocolate Orange—that nostalgic, "yummm" inducing treat that feels like a warm hug.
Whether it’s a scent that reminds you of home or one that helps you escape to a new one, we pour that intention into every single batch
Our history
Ashley Gorge Crafts came about a few years ago whilst living in the Oxford/Ashley Gorge area. Since then, I have relocated to Little River were I have rekindled my passion for making candles. I make them in small batches in my kitchen -which in turn makes my house smell amazing.

A classic "festive" blend that balances the zesty, invigorating brightness of citrus with the deep, cozy warmth of spice. Known to be uplifting and energizing and has an amazing ability to enhance mental clarity
Sandalwood and Musk - $20.00
The ultimate "earthy-luxury" scent. It is deep, velvety, and sophisticated, often described as a "skin scent" because of its warm, intimate quality. Unlike bright citrus or sweet florals, this blend is grounding and smooth.
Vanilla dream - $20.00
A classic and comforting scent, featuring the sweet and creamy notes of pure vanilla bean.
